Adam Tartaglia

Adam is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP). Adam earned his B.S in Psychology and M.A in trained at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He provides highly effective remote counseling services to ages 12 and up.

He comes to Lifespan with therapeutic experiences in inpatient behavioral health and residential treatment settings. He has experience with a wide range of client ages and concerns.

Adam believes in the holistic style of mental health treatment, in which all aspects of a person and their life should be taken into account in order to help them to the greatest extent. Adam has completed extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a gold standard treatment for mental distress and interpersonal problems of all kinds. Adam has also spent time adding to his knowledge base on folks on the autism spectrum, to assist with any co-occurring mental health conditions. Adam is trained in the use of Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

In addition to his years of professional therapy, Adam serves as a mentor and supervisor at Lifespan to trainees therapists. Adam has a desire to help clients and their families achieve their goals in a respectful and thoughtful manner. Working with Adam means you will feel heard each step of the way.
